My fave local Chinese spot! Chow Mein is THICK. Their tofu hits the spot every time! Sometimes they rotate their sides and I get the shrimp with veggies instead. Inexpensive and typically are generous with their servings. Their Thai tea is great as well, though they put too much ice. Regardless, this is good food for a good price.

This little spot has some good Chinese food and it's very reasonably priced. I get a three meat combo for $8 and it's a loaded plate. What I enjoy most is the teriyaki chicken, the orange chicken, the barbecue pork and the chow mein. Seldom am I disappointed but I would say that I've had the opportunity of having the food freshly cooked - I guess I pick the perfect times.

This is probably one of my favorite Asian go-to stops in Van Nuys. When I am in the area and I want my orange chicken or teriyaki fix, this place is the real deal. The owners are actually Cantonese parents and are there everyday, so you know the food will legitimately be like your mom and dad's home cooking (if you happen to be Canto). The owners are also super nice and always give extra full portions - you're getting A LOT of bang for your buck here.
Finally, it's important to me that given the choice, to support smaller non-franchised family restaurants. This ain't your monied Panda Express with run of the mill cooks factory-producing a set recipe - this is a family place making solid home cooking like beef and broccoli or eggplant tofu. I can't recommend a more homey and family-esque Chinese restaurant than this one in the entire city than this one. -

Really good food.. they load up more on the steamed rice (I guess people don't really ask for it).. that makes them add less of the actual food items & noodles. Other than that, great food and great prices. No need to take stars off for that.

Bad customer service. Food was okay. Was hoping to get some good juicy shrimp. The fried shrimp was okay.
